Has it got leaves?

Trees are tall plants. They can be divided into two main groups: deciduous, which lose their leaves in the autumn, and evergreen, which keep their leaves all year around.

Los árboles son plantas altas. Se les puede dividir en dos grandes grupos, árboles de hoja caduca, aquellos que pierden  sus hojas en otoño, y árboles de hoja perenne, aquellos que conservan sus hojas por todo el año.

In the picture above we can see the same tree during the different seasons, it is an oak tree and it changes depending on the season, it's colour is different as well, in winter it hasn't got leaves. It is a Deciduous tree.

Evergreen trees, as this pine tree, don't lose their leaves in winter, they keep their leaves during all the year.

Some plants have got seeds.

Some of the flowers grow fruit to protect the seeds. Seeds in the ground grow roots and a stem.
